NCRA elects new 2020 board of director member, Jeff Gentry
REDDING, CA – Jeff Gentry, Vice President of Service First Information Solutions (Service 1st), has joined National Consumer Reporting Association (NCRA) as a newly elected member of the board of directors starting November 1, 2019.
Gentry will contribute towards the leadership efforts of NCRA in promoting the general welfare of its industry members, the businesses they serve, and the consumers whose information they report under the terms of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
“I am passionate about advocating for the well-being and prosperity of credit reporting agencies, tenant and employment screening companies,” says Gentry. “My experience in the industry and compliance expertise under the FCRA will allow me to be an objective voice for the lending and consumer communities, pushing a positive mission and agenda that truly benefits CRA’s and their customers.”
Gentry is a consultative expert in the mortgage service industry with almost 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and fraud detection services. He is a key figure for building best-in-class solutions for his clients specializing in credit reporting and verification solutions. As an executive, Gentry is responsible for strategic planning, managing associates, sales profitability, leveraging technology, and improving processes at Service 1st.
As a trusted thought leader in the mortgage industry, Gentry speaks nationally on credit information, risk mitigation solutions, and government regulatory requirements. He is an active member of the MBA and completed the MBA Future Leaders’ Program.
