Customers who are registered with eCBSV by August 1st, 2022 will be able to submit electronic signatures on SSA-89 forms. As a part of this change, SSV Services will begin directing SSV orders from eCBSV registered end users to the Social Security Administration Electronic Consent Based Social Security Number Verification Service (“eCBSV”).
SSV Services will continue submitting orders for existing customers to the CBSV service, who remain unregistered with eCBSV, until Oct 1, 2022. All SSV Services customers must register for eCBSV by Oct 1, 2022 as that service will be sunsetted.
